Matthew's plans for 2008

Matt is going to be competeting 2008 Saxmax Champions. At the moment the team is busy building Matthew a new race car for 2008, and also trying to find him sponsorship for 2008 season.

While Matthew been waiting for his new race car he's been racing in Snr Rotax Karts.

He just finished 4th in the Winter Championship at Fulbeck, which is not bad as he hasn't raced a kart for nearly 3years.

We are hoping to have the car finished in the 6 weeks.

NEWS FOR 2008

Matthew had some good news at the end of the year that he was accepted on Elite race driver’s academy course run by Loughborough College. This aims to bring up the best young racing drivers though the ranks of motor racing. Matthew was 1 out of 10 people selected on the course out of hundreds of applicants. During the winter testing Matthew has driven many race cars to find what he would like to race in 2008.He has had a couple of tests in Formula Fords and made very good progress in every test, the instructors on hand gave nothing but very positive praise for his talent.

PLANS FOR 2008

Matthews plans for 2008 is to try and raise the funds to compete in the British Formula Ford championship, this is where most of today’s Formula one drivers started there motor racing careers. The championship is televised which Matthew feels is a good opportunity for his sponsors and himself.
